Thanks for a great season!

The Plymouth Lights 2018 display is in the books. Most of the display is down and in storage, and we’re starting to think about ideas for future displays. We have taken photos and video of the 2018 display and hope to get them posted sometime soon.

No Lights on Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas everyone. As a reminder, we do not run the lights (at all) on Christmas Eve, December 24. We will be back on Christmas Day from 5:30-9:30pm as usual, and then through New Year’s Eve.

Come see the lights on a weeknight!

Weeknights this week would be a perfect time to come view our display. The next couple weekends will likely be busy and thus we will go to an abbreviated song list, so come now and enjoy more of the lights and sounds.

As a reminder, please do not block or turn around in our neighbor’s driveways. Avoid stopping and parking on the display side (north side) of the street as this blocks views and backs up traffic onto Dunkirk Ln.

Keeping things respectful in our neighborhood helps ensure the display goes on to another year. Thanks!

2018 Season Begins

We are officially live for the season- our 17th year at this address! We run the lights from 5:30-10pm Friday and Saturday nights, and 5:30-9pm on other nights, through the end of December, other than Christmas Eve where we take a break and don’t run the lights.

A few brief requests:
1) If at all possible, come visit the display on a weeknight earlier in the month. This helps alleviate traffic pressure on the neighborhood during weekends and right before Christmas. Plus you’l be able to enjoy more of the show as we move to an abbreviated song list during busy times.

2) Please respect our neighbors and our neighborhood. Avoid loud radios, car horns, and blocking driveways or the street. Our neighbors graciously put up increased traffic in December so you may enjoy the show.

3) Please don’t stop or park on the North side of the road (the side our display is on). This not only blocks the display for others watching from the other side (the best vantage point) but also can back traffic up onto Dunkirk Lane. We live near a fire station and Dunkirk absolutely needs to be free flowing.

4) Please stay in your car to watch the show. Never walk into the display area or our neighbors’ property.

Happy New Year- Final Night

Tonight is the final night for our 2017 display season. Have a wonderful and blessed 2018.

Weeknights are better…

As we get closer to Christmas, weekend traffic at the display can start becoming busy. You’ll be happier if you can defer your trip out to see the lights to a weekday- we run through New Years Eve so there’s plenty of time.

If you do come, please use common courtesy: Don’t block driveways, the road, or the view of others watching the lights from the other side of the road. Traffic works best when it forms a line on the OPPOSITE side of the street from our home and display. Please no honking horns, loud radios, and in general, remember this is a neighborhood, and it’s Christmastime.

The lights are on for the season!

Ran some display tests tonight

We’re getting close! Ran some tests tonight… worked out a few bugs, have a few more to work out in the next few days. We’re still on track to go live on Dec 1!

Welcome to our new website!

We’ve (finally) updated our website! Now that we have a solid modern platform to build on, we plan on continuing to update and add content on a much more regular basis.
